「初音ミク～Melody…～」 by (R.P.S.)

Our newest sub project (release #46) comes from producer mikuru396 and it is for the song :Re; which was originally released on July 10th of this year.

When someone asks what my favorite all-time Vocaloid song is, I always reply Melody. Why is that? It’s because it’s the one song that made me the fan that I am today. I remember listening to other Miku songs back in ’07 and slowly grew more and more interested with the whole Vocaloid scene on Nico. However mikuru396′s Melody… and the 3DPV ussyP produced to go along with it sealed the deal. Together with its unique visual style and techno-pop sound, I realized then just how special this singing twin-tail virtual idol really was.

Fast forward to five years later, mikuru396 releases a response to Melody called :Re — alongside another 3DPV to compliment it; by producer BrotherP. Seeing this video the first time filled me with so much emotion that I can’t really describe in words. I began to remember the early days of Vocaloid 2; the decision to start a Youtube account as a Vocaloid reprinter to spread the word; the idea of having our own Vocaloid fansubbing group to do our part for the community; and the day I sat second row at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles to see Hatsune Miku herself live on stage
