According to this week’s issue of Dengeki Playstation magazine, an anime adaptation of Compile Heart’s RPG series, 「Hyperdimension Neptunia」, has been green-lit for production. No further details are available at this time.

The third installment in the game series, entitled 「Neptunia V」, will be released on August 30th in Japan.

The manga adaptation, which is serialized in the online manga site Famitsu Comic Clear, first made its debut on November 12th, 2010. It is illustrated by Bamyuuda Saimaru.

A parallel world protected by four goddesses, who are engaged in a war with one another in Celestia. Meanwhile on the human world, mankind wages war with monsters unleashed by a being named Arfoire. The tome, Histoire, contains the knowledge of the past necessary to end both wars and shape the future. What fate awaits Neptune in the present?
