Group E, Day 4 – First Round Match-up(s):

In Group E-4, the always energetic idol Yayoi will have to take on the Pretty Cure with the strong sense of justice March. Regrettably Chie, like many other reps from Persona, won’t be making much of an impact on this year’s contest if the Prelims have anything to say about it — disappointing indeed. So with this opener in mind, I’ll say it will go Yayoi’s way.

In Group E-8, how long has it been since someone from Gundam won a round in Saimoe? Well for Yurin this is for her chance to shine. She even did well in the preliminaries — community still remember her for obvious reasons. But unfortunately for Yurin this will be a battle between the higher profile figures; Rin and Kokaji.

In Group E-12, the last time we saw Yui was 2011 where she lost to Minami of BakaTest in the first round; 381-334. But even with a stained record from last year, I firmly believe she will survive her opener this time around — I didn’t make her one of my top 5 picks for nothing.
