The real winner today is Hanazawa Kana as both her character roles move on to the 3rd Round. Statistically Rin should’ve had the edge in this match, but Char’s proficiency just wouldn’t allow her to be sent home just yet. Around 53 votes made the difference in this round.

Over on the other side, Nyaruko unfortunately did not have the endurance to keep up with the heavy hitters known as the Matsumi sisters — even fresh off the news of her S2. In a match involving three Prelim group winners, every vote is carefully looked at. Kuro earned herself a total vote count of 454; around 132 more votes than Nyaruko. The split vote did leave Ryuuka to be sacrificed however. We say so long to her.

This brings my record for correct R2 predictions so far to 18-4.

For today’s matches, expect the war machine Yuu to unleash her fury as the Saki faction seeks to avenge Shizuno’s defeat to Kuuko. But I still believe in both Yui and Taiga here. Eru should also come out as the victor tomorrow in her group.
