Akarin and the Yuru Yuri faction have plenty of reason to celebrate as they clinched a spot in the Saimoe 2012 Block Finals! There was no cause of concern really as she steamrolled her way to victory with a total vote count of 385 — roughly 168 votes more than Mei.

Meanwhile in Group A, series supporters helped Saki garner her inevitable R3 win after holding off a challenge from Haganai’s Kobato. And they did this with only a difference of 29 votes. The graph above shows you just how close Kobato was to closing the gap in the end.

Looking ahead at today’s matches, we have Tacos against Kodomo and Iorin against Toki. Toki may have the advantage, statistically speaking, but I wouldn’t count Iorin out just yet — amazing how she made it this far. Koromo may have the momentum on her side — considering she is a Prelim Group winner and everything. So Yuuki will have her work cut out for her. We’ll see how they both fare tomorrow.
