my next pick: Hinata…… but probably Louise is gonna win…

The president nearly lost the match in the final hours but eventually survived, and Cure Peace was a dozen votes from history for the Pretty Cures.  Team Saki now has assured five spots in the quarterfinal, and Hisa is now the seventh different mahjong representative to reach the Elite Eight in Saki’s three years.  The team now will have to hope that their assured duel in round 5 features at least one veteran if they want the best possible outcome.
There may not be a Saki battle here, but with both D and H having Kugimiyas, there’s no rest for the faction if they want to ensure a championship.  Though she’s on the weaker half of the Kugimiya team, Louise’s penchant of staging upsets in the past has let her eliminate Nagi and gain a chance to get her third Elite Eight spot in four appearances.  She has made the most of her final eligible year, especially thanks to the long-overdue character development in her later seasons, and now the void-caster is one step away from re-emerging on the national stage again.
Blockading her is the smallest and youngest member of the Kenshin basketball team.  Hinata has been blessed with the easiest path of the five members, and considering how her team has fared, her placement mirrors that of various Cinderella teams.  She also got some luck in that she didn’t have to battle a major Saki representative yet and knocked out the strongest idol Chihaya last round.  The plush fan now has to take out a member of another dominant faction for her unlikely run to continue.
This will be a close match if the Kugimiya fans desperately want someone in this all-star tournament to succeed.  People do like a good underdog story, and Hinata fits that mold and gets my support.  However, my prediction goes against the grain again and the Kugimiya faction won’t be dead yet.
