Winner: Kuro Matsumi.
One of the most highly anticipated sibling rivalries of the year took place yesterday. Throughout this tournament, no other contestant has looked more dominant than the Matsumi sisters. They’ve been putting up numbers as high as no one else in such a convincing fashion. So what would happen if you put the most winning duo against each other? The victor here will surely be the strong favorite to go all the way.
Quarterfinals III – Results:
Congratulations Kuro! You have survived your most extensive test so far. (There is no stopping the Dragon Lord is there?) Her amazing run is kept alive with a vote tally of 181 — just 3 votes made the difference! She’ll be moving on to the semifinals.
Focusing now on the last QF match of Saimoe ’12, we have veteran Shana versus Saki’s Hisa. This is Shana’s sixth and likely final year in this tournament. For making it this far again after so many attempts is just remarkable in itself. She will go down as a legend no matter what the results call for. Here’s to hoping she makes it tomorrow. Good luck to your picks.
