According to the 16th volume of Newtype Ace magazine, a new original TV anime series from writer Urobuchi Gen (Psycho-Pass, Madoka) has been announced. It is entitled, Suisei no Galgandia. Initial broadcast will begin in April 2013.

In addition, Newtype Ace will be launching a manga adaptation of the new project next year.

*Synopsis:

In the midst of a war between humans and an alien species, a warp accident transports a child soldier to an unknown water planet where the people there live in large ship convoys and cities are built on the ocean.
