According to 2013′s combined 4th/5th issue of Weekly Shounen Sunday and Manga News Japon, a new 「Hayate no Gotoku!」 (ハヤテのごとく!) TV anime series is in the works and set to premiere on TV Tokyo in Spring 2013. It is unclear whether the new project will be a continuation of the first two Hayate anime programs that aired between 2007-2009; or a follow-up to the recent Can’t Take My Eyes Off You anime — which was an original story written by author Hata Kenjiro himself.
