Together with the recent celebration of Kaito’s 7th birthday, we finally saw the launch of his V3 software. So expect to see some of the producers on our charts utilizing the new voicebank.

Lets not forget that the 10th MMD Cup was also in full effect last week. How much of an influence did it have on the ranking itself? Well you’ll just have to see on your own below. That is, after you get over the shock of finding out that Senbonzakura has finally left the top 30 after numerous months since its debut!

Before we start, let’s take a quick look at what’s been going on recently in the world of Vocaloid…

  • Starting March 5th to April 1st, Family Mart will exclusively feature a Sakura Miku theme filled with products and prizes.
  • A reminder that Megpoid English is slated to be released February 28th. There will be a free launch event featuring Vocalekt Visions on Sunday, March 3rd in San Francisco’s Japantown. Megpoid English workshops, demos, and other activities will run all day.
  • Swedish rock singer YOHIO recently announced on Twitter that he will become a new bilingual (English, Japanese) Vocaloid in the PowerFX range.
