ALI PROJECT have just released their most recent album titled, "Soubikakei" (Rose Crucifixion) earlier this week. The limited edition copy includes a promotional poster with the album's release date displayed, a beautifully alluring digipack case, a music video to "Seishoujo Ryouiki" -- opening to Rozen Maiden Träumend, and a "Gothic Lolita" inspired photoset of the lovely and talented Takarano Arika -- yes, the whole gosurori style and fashion is just one of my many weaknesses I have to admit. There are twelve tracks on the new album, most of which were previously released Rozen Maiden-related singles, but that works out perfectly fine for me having not bought most of the character drama CDs. The two-piece group is expected to put out 2 new singles later this Spring: "Ankoku Tengoku" (OP to Kamichama Karin) and "Hizamazuite Ashi o Oname" (ED to Kaibutsu Oujo) -- which you can listen here. On March 31st, 2006, during the official one year anniversary of the site, absolute tragedy struck the Gallery section as all of the figure shots I had taken with my digicam completely vanished from the server, with no recovery option whatsoever. Instead of celebrating the one year maintenance of this very here website, which by the way I had no intention of running for as long as it did, I was instead in complete grief. All that work of trying to take the "perfect angle shot" had disappeared and stupid me never even once considered to backup my photos. But today that lesson has been learned by this still inexperienced blogger. After missing for nearly three months with little hope of returning home, I have finally brought back photographs of these aesthetically pleasing figures, which will forever carry the label, "the lost galleries" ...
