According to a press release from studio Toei, a new Dragon Ball TV series was announced. It is entitled, 「Dragon Ball Super」. It will be an original story by creator Akira Toriyama — taking place after the events of the Majin Buu Saga. Broadcast of the new project starts July on Fuji TV — every Sunday at 9am JST; taking over 「Dragon Ball Kai」.
According to the June issue of Dengeki G’s magazine, the cast of the upcoming 「Love Live! Sunshine!!」 project has been revealed. The story will take place on a small seaside town near Numazu, Shizuoka Perfecture called Uchiura. The main setting is at a local school called Uranohoshi Girls Academy that has less than a 100 students attending.
The official website to 「Love Live! The School Idol Movie」 is currently hosting a full 90-second trailer for the upcoming film. Other updates are also available from the site including worldwide release dates, special commentary from the Aina Kusuda (Nozomi) and Emi Nitta (Honoka), and special Nozomi wallpaper.
In the latest issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump, it was confirmed that the 「Shokugeki no Souma」 TV anime will be receiving a second-cour. The magazine details how the series will be made up of 8 Blu-ray & DVD volumes; 3 episodes each — making a total of 24 episodes.
According to Comic Natalie, production decisions for both a second TV anime season and second live-action film adaptation of Yuusei Matsui’s manga series, 「Assassination Classroom」, has been announced.
According to VN developer Light’s official website, a crowdfunding campaign for a possible 「Dies irae」 anime has been announced. Their target goal is 30 million yen or more — around $250,000 USD. A pilot film would be guaranteed if successful. The campaign period will be announced at a later date.
A photo providing a first-look at the new key visual for the upcoming 「Love Live! The School Idol Movie」 has surfaced recently. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters June 13th, 2015.
Fate/Grand Order is an upcoming mobile game for both the IOS and Android. The game will feature new servants such as Saber (CV: Mamiko Noto; Designer: huke) and Rider (CV: Saori Hayami; Designer: Mineji Sakamoto). A TV commercial for the new Saber can also be found after the cut.
On his blog earlier today, program designer ZUN announced plans for the fifteenth official game in Touhou Project series, entitled 「Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom」. A trial version is expected to be released at this year’s Reitaisai event; taking place on May 10th. The full game will be completed by this summer. Reimu, Marisa, Sanae, and Reisen will all be playable.
